Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction is an ancient ministry of the church. This spiritual companionship takes place one on one or in group settings. Spiritual Directors participate in thorough training and become certified in this ancient practice of helping others in deepening their relationship with God.
If you wish to explore your faith in the context of Christian community, discerning your deepest values and goals and becoming more attentive to God’s initiative in your life, then Spiritual Direction can be a helpful practice of deep, holy listening. Spiritual direction is appropriate at any stage of the spiritual journey, from seekers to life-long believers.
Retreats and Workshops
Spiritual formation centers on the ordinary growing of one’s relationship with God. Attending retreats and workshops offers an experience of learning practices and methods to deepen and widen that relationship. It is a chance to withdraw from everyday life to explore new perspectives and disciplines.
These ecumenical retreats vary from half-day to weekend formats. Topics range from second-half-of-life journeys, forgiveness, and contemplative prayer practices.
